Blessings!

This is a summer and season of excitement for the Taylor Family.  We are eagerly expecting Noah David's arrival any minute now!  Daniel Isaac has been preparing to be the big brother for months, and he is going to be an excellent helper and protector to his baby brother.  He is very proud of his role and is eager to teach Noah David how to jump (especially off of the furniture and diving board), chew gum, and go to the potty.  We have been extremely blessed by many family and friends who have helped us prepare for Noah David's arrival, and Daniel Isaac will continue to be surrounded by his wonderful grandparents and now aunts and uncles during this transition as our family grows.  We have the co-sleeper all set up, the house clean (finally...thank you, Mom and Alli!), and everything in place.  We have really enjoyed soaking up one-on-one time with Daniel Isaac, and our afternoon naps together are treasured beyond description!  My last day at work was Monday, and it's a good feeling to just be home for a couple of days before Noah David comes.

While it's nice to have the "break", I will also miss working.  The Lord has blessed Daniel and I tremendously with placing us with Lifeline Children's Services.  He led me there last summer, and I've been able to work part time this whole year with families desiring to adopt a child/children (domestic and international) and with women who are considering choosing adoption for their child.  It has been such a wonderful ministry to be a part of, with wonderful, professional co-workers and leadership.  The Lord has taught me and grown me so much through this.  And then in February, He led Daniel to Lifeline...so it got even better!  Daniel is the Director of Lifeline Children's Services of Georgia, so he manages our office in Columbus, GA.  I have been going with him 2 days a week and fitting most of my work in those two days.  It has not only been a blessing to get to work and minister side by side again, but we've thoroughly enjoyed getting lunch dates that often!  God is so good to give us this opportunity.  Please visit Lifeline's website at www.lifelineadoption.org, and please keep us all in your prayers as children who are orphans are literally brought home, women are ministered to in a time of crisis and difficult decision-making, and families are equipped to bring children home.  The Lord has truly answered my prayers, and He has given me the wonderful blessing of getting to be home with my children most of the time and also minister via Lifeline and use my gifts and education.  God is so good, and that is truly an understatement.
